I have been present for both home and hospital births and also cesarian sections. I attended birth doula training to help elevate my work, so I come with knowledge of the birthing process as well. I make sure to bring a calm and confident energy with me into any birthing space.

At home newborn session: $550
Stay cozy and safe at home with your new little one for your first family photos and those sweet little newborn details. You guys snuggle, I come to you and take care of the rest. Typically taken when little one is 2-4 weeks old.

Everyone loves to talk about the whimsy of motherhood. THe magic. the all consuming love. your little heart living and breathing outside of your body. the very fact that your body made a whole new life out of itself. I have an appreciation for all of that too. But, let us also be reminded of the incomparable shift that is motherhood. Let us not forget the work. The literal blood, sweat and tears. a brain and a body that's no longer all yours. The fierceness that comes alive in you. the community of mothers that save you.
I'm not going to take photos on a cutsie backdrop in between you bribing your kid with ice cream to sit still and smile. I'm going to get to know you as a mother, you as an individual, and your little one in the same way. i'm not interested in faking a good time. We take our time. we play. we chat.
